Skin and Wound Management Module 4: Wound Care

There are many different types of skin conditions that we label “wounds” however there are distinct differences between a diabetic ulcer and a pressure ulcer. As such, interventions and treatment should be modified based on the type of wound being treated as well as prevention techniques that may assist in reducing the risk of developing wounds. This presentation will provide you with the information needed to implement an effective treatment and prevention program.
