Activity Overview

Although respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is mostly known for its effects on infants, it can also lead to severe illness in older adults.

Use the guide with patients individually or in group settings to build a foundation for education and a forum for patients to ask questions and voice concerns.
Included in this guide:
- Patient-friendly slide deck on RSV symptoms, risk factors for severe disease, testing, prevention strategies, and vaccines under development
- Tips for engaging patients in collaborative learning so they become active participants in their own care
- Resources to support education and shared decision-making
